St. Pius X
Christmas Program
December
2, 2013
Dear
Parents,
It’s that time of year, and the 3rd
and 4th grade students have been busy preparing for the upcoming
Christmas program. This year the program
will be on Wednesday, December 11th, at 7:00 pm. Your child needs to be at school by 6:30 pm
that evening. Traditionally, one of the songs sung during the program will be,
“The Twelve Days of Christmas.” It is a
very fun song for the two grades, and it is very important that each child be
present during the program.
Below is the part your child has in the
song and what he/she needs to wear that evening. Please do not go shopping for new
clothes. If you do not have the exact
color, do the best you can with what you have.
Drummers: Red or green shirt/turtleneck and pants, and
a red “Santa” hat.
Lords-a-Leaping: Red turtleneck, dark sweatpants, and a pair
of long socks that come up to their knees, and a red “Santa” hat. Please pull the dark sweatpants up to their
knees to represent knickers. Long soccer
socks work great with the pulled up knickers.
Ladies
Dancing: Christmas/Sunday dress. They will be given a scarf to wave and a
party hat to wear.
Maids-a-Milking: Christmas/Sunday dress. They will be given a bandanna to wear in
their hair and a “milk pail” to hold.
Partridge: Brown, white, beige colored clothes.
5 Golden
Rings, 4 Calling Birds, 3 French Hens, and 2 Turtle Doves: Boy or girl, please wear Christmas or Sunday
clothes, and a red “Santa” hat.
Thank you in advance for helping your child to be
ready for this show. They will have fun!
In
Christ,
Mrs.
Calkins and Ms. Kornobis
